I’m Jeremy Lindquist and I suppose the most important thing to know about me is that I am a husband and a father to my silly 3-year old son. Being a dad has changed me in so many positive ways – but you’re probably hear to learn more about how I can help you. So…
How Can I Help You?
A client of mine once described me as “the best kept secret in running”. I’m not a big-headed guy, but that statement stuck with me over time. It’s one of the reasons I started this business… I’m so dang interested in pursuing big goals – especially running goals – that I learned all I could about the body and how it moves.
I learned about injuries – both preventing them and working with them so they don’t flare back up.
I learned how to apply the “minimum effective dose”. That means that I don’t overload you or your body when it isn’t necessary. Instead I find the minimum effective dose that we can apply to keep you injury-free but still sprinting towards your goals.
I learned to focus on long-term goals and not just short-term outcomes.
And I learned all about what I can do to be the absolute best running coach I could be for my clients.
A Little Bit of My Story
Back in middle and high school I lacked confidence. I mean that’s a tough time for most kids – and that included me. When I was in 8th grade, my family moved from Texas to Minnesota.
I was the new kid. Fun, right?
But I did learn some things about life, and I learned that running was a bit of a safe-haven for me.
In college (go maroon and gold!) I had the opportunity to take a class that taught me how to work through something challenging and be accountable to yourself – for me it was running a marathon.
I trained hard. And I completed my first marathon!
And that Lit. A. Fire. In. Me.
Since Then I Have…
